Attribute-Set > New/Modify

Definition or modification of an attribute set related to a reference set describing reinforcement.

SettingDescription
Group Name of the property group to which the attribute set belongs (fix name GP-AttrSets cannot be changed by the user).
AttrSet Name of the attribute-set to be defined or modified (max. 16 characters)
Material Name of the material assigned to the attribute set. Only materials already defined in the project database can be selected. The material definition is required for attribute sets assigned to reference sets of the types reinforcement and stress points.
Type Reference-Set type (only for modification possible!), the attribute-set has been assigned to. The relevant type list will be displayed on selection of the arrow. If nothing is set, the first (general) group will be accepted.
Reinforcement Design
Note: To compute the reinforcement layout, click the Recalculate Reinforcement icon in the main window. Reinforcement layout from view option in the main window. You can access the output of reinforcement design in an Excel™ spreadsheet file is the project folder.
SettingDescription
Reinforcement Library library of reinforcement for different design code can be selected from drop down menu.
Preferred Bar Size program generate the reinforcement layout for preferred bar size. If the requirements are not satisfied, then program search for reinforcement from bar size range.
Bar Size Range From minimum acceptable bar size when preferred bar is not suitable.
Bar Size Range To maximum acceptable bar size when preferred bar is not suitable.
Concrete Cover maximum distance from the face of the bar to surface
Spacing Min minimum distance from the face of one bar to face of other
Spacing Max maximum distance from the face of one bar to face of other
Spacing Step (for shear) increment increase from minimum spacing to accomplish the shear reinforcement layout
Number of layers for longitudinal rebars program uses this number of possible different types of reinforcement layout for designing longitudinal reinforcement
Number of different types (for shear web) program uses this number of possible different types of reinforcement layout for designing shear web reinforcement.
Maximum number of legs (for shear web) maximum number of legs for shear web reinforcement design which can be used. The minimum number of legs is 2
Asmin Minimum reinforcement area which is used by program for designing reinforcement layout
Asmax Maximum reinforcement area which is used by program for designing reinforcement layout
Max D Maximum diameter of reinforcement bars
Amax Maximum reinforcement area of the assigned reinforcement group (per meter value for reinforcements defined as distributed along a line or polygon).
Amin Minimum reinforcement area (total value in the cross-section)
Amin-fact Minimal reinforcement area as factor of CS area Amin-total = Amin + Amin-fact×Ac (Ac = concrete area of CS)
Description General alpha-numeric description - Max. 80 characters.
